Every new Kia comes with a comprehensive warranty covering most of the vehicle for 5 years or 100,000 kilometres. A matching powertrain warranty protects the engine, transmission, and other major mechanical parts for the same term.

Hybrid and plug‑in hybrid components get extended coverage of 8 years or 150,000 kilometres. Fully electric models carry the same 8‑year or 150,000‑kilometre coverage on EV components. The high‑voltage battery gets 8 years or 160,000 kilometres.

Roadside assistance runs for 5 years with unlimited kilometres, covering towing, jump‑starts, flat tires, and lockouts. It’s valid anywhere in Canada or the continental United States. An anti‑perforation warranty also protects body panels from rust for 5 years with unlimited kilometres.

Kia Certified Pre‑Owned vehicles carry their own extended coverage on top of any remaining factory warranty. That gives used buyers added peace of mind, and coverage can be upgraded further depending on the vehicle.

Protection Plans for Extra Peace of Mind

Beyond the factory warranty, Scarboro Kia offers a range of protection plans through Kia Protect. These include extended mechanical coverage, tire and wheel protection, and cosmetic repairs.
