The 2027 Kia Seltos lineup includes the LX FWD, EX AWD, EX Hybrid, EX Premium Hybrid, SX AWD, SX Hybrid, and X-Line Hybrid trim levels. The LX FWD introduces the redesigned exterior with LED lighting, alloy wheels, and a more upright front fascia than the previous generation. EX AWD models add exterior accents and revised wheel designs, creating a more upscale appearance. SX AWD versions feature sportier styling with gloss-black exterior trim, larger alloy wheels, and unique bumper treatments. The hybrid trims also receive model-specific exterior details, including revised grille elements and exclusive wheel designs. Buyers wanting a tougher appearance can choose the X-Line Hybrid, which adds black roof rails, revised lower-body cladding, and styling cues that give the Kia Seltos a more rugged character without increasing its compact footprint.
Performance
The 2027 Kia Seltos now offers three separate powertrain configurations. LX FWD and EX AWD trims feature a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with an Intelligent Variable Transmission. SX AWD models feature a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Hybrid trims pair a turbocharged 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid system produces 190 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque. Front-wheel drive comes standard on LX FWD models, while all-wheel drive is standard or available on higher trims, depending on configuration. Hybrid models achieve combined fuel economy as good as 6.0 L/100 km. Regenerative braking technology also helps recover energy during deceleration, improving efficiency. The broader powertrain lineup gives buyers greater flexibility to prioritize fuel economy, stronger performance, or additional traction capability.
Features and Technology
The redesigned cabin introduces one of the most substantial changes in the 2027 Kia Seltos lineup. Kia equips the SUV with a digital cockpit display system spanning nearly 30 inches across the dashboard. Available dual 12.3-inch displays handle driver information and infotainment functions, while an available 5-inch climate display adds additional control functionality lower in the centre stack. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity also come standard. Kia states the redesigned model increases legroom, headroom, shoulder room, hip room, and cargo space compared with the previous generation. Available features include a panoramic sunroof, Surround View Monitor, and a memory power driver’s seat with 4-way lumbar adjustment. Kia AddGear cargo organization also comes standard. Driver-assistance technology includes Hands-On Detection, Safe Exit Alert, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Junction Turning, Smart Cruise Control with stop-and-go, and front and rear Parking Distance Warning.
