Kia EV4, PV5 and Concept EV2 Make Debuts at 2025 Kia EV Day

Kia EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2 Debut at 2025 Kia EV Day

Kia is charging full speed ahead into the electric future. At the 2025 Kia EV Day in Tarragona, Spain, the brand unveiled three new electric models — the Kia EV4, Kia PV5, and Kia Concept EV2 — all part of its global strategy to make electric vehicles more accessible, versatile, and tailored to different lifestyles.

The event also highlighted Kia’s Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) initiative, which aims to transform personal and business mobility with highly customizable EVs.

Kia EV4 — First All-Electric Sedan and Hatchback

The Kia EV4 is Kia’s first fully electric sedan, also available as a hatchback, expanding the company’s EV lineup beyond SUVs like the EV6 and EV9. Designed to bring C-segment sedan buyers into the EV world, the EV4 blends familiar sedan proportions with advanced technology and a bold, modern look.

Four versions of the EV4 were displayed at the event — two sedans and two hatchbacks — showing Kia’s commitment to offering variety in design and performance.

Kia PV5 — The Future of Customizable EVs

The Kia PV5 is the first model from Kia’s PBV lineup, designed for extreme versatility. Built on the E-GMP.S (Electric-Global Modular Platform for Service) architecture, the PV5 can be reconfigured for different uses, from personal transportation to specialized business needs.

At the event, Kia showcased four PV5 versions:

  • Cargo — for deliveries and goods transport
  • Passenger — for ride services
  • Wheelchair Access Vehicle (WAV) — for inclusive mobility
  • Crew — a flagship multi-use model developed directly by Kia

Owners can also enhance their PV5 with Kia AddGear accessories, allowing for even more customization.

Kia Concept EV2 — Compact EV for Everyone

The Concept EV2 previews an upcoming B-segment SUV EV, designed to be an agile, affordable, and fun-to-drive addition to Kia’s EV family. Like the EV4, the EV2 focuses on bringing advanced features and style to a more accessible price point, making EV ownership possible for more drivers.

Connected Technology & Partnerships

Kia also announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics to integrate SmartThings Pro, an Internet of Things (IoT) system designed for PBVs. This allows remote management of business operations directly from inside the vehicle, helping boost productivity for owners and fleets.
